Father (Poem I wrote in Study Hall)

I thought you wanted me to fly

Instead you raised me to die

Where and when, but never here

No one to help me steer

My life is going downward

Towards eternity below

But maybe, a small reward

In forever's glow

I may see you there

Buried in your chains

Each link made from a lie

That you had made for me

Or is hell to good

For the likes of you

I wish to never see you

Even though there's pain

It is nothing I can't handle

Since you abandoned me
