An Underground Bar

Kyuu softly yelped and fell backwards into the hot tub, falling off his lap. She coughed a little when she came back up, but a second later Derek was there with a towel, glaring at Manit. "What did you do to my Goddess?" he asked menacingly. His voice was deep and smooth as silk when he wanted it to be. Other times, it was like a horrid spike. Kyuu coughed again and finally stood up, half her body out of the water as she dried off her hair and face. "I'm fine, I get spooked just like everyone else, Derek. Relax." Kyuu lightly brushed her fingers over his cheek as she pulled herself up onto the side of the hot tub, Derek right beside her, not caring if he got wet. Derek was, of course, distracted by his naked Mistress, and forgot they were not alone. So when she thanked him and kissed him, he let his guard down for a moment and kissed her back with an intensity that made the both of them shiver. "Derek, I'll come to your side later, leave me for now." Kyuu said the command softly, but she wanted him to leave, and as his wrist pulsed with light, he walked off, content with the fact that they would be together later.

"Ears are sensitive things, Manit. Remember that." Kyuu slowly sank back into the hot water, but she kept her distance for a little bit, half tempted to see what he did about it.

"I shall Kyuu."He slid over next to her, smiling. "Sorry if I startled you." He put his hand on her knee. "I did not mean to." As he spoke he slowly slid his hand up her thigh. "You are a beautiful woman." He kissed her neck softly, moving to her lips. "Very beautiful."

Kyuu parted her lips to protests, but she couldn't. She was pretty amazing. "I can't argue that." was all she said, because she couldn't. She raised an eyebrow at his hand sliding up her leg. He was being more assertive, and though that turned her on, she wasn't sure how she liked it. She did of course, but she was unsure about how much. She lightly bit down on her bottom lip as she felt a shudder ripple through her body.

He smiled at her and bit again at her neck as his hand reached her. Running his hand slowly up and down between her legs he kissed her lips, licking them, teasing her. He moved his hand at the same speed he licked, slow, steady, soft.

Kyuu suddenly looked up at the sky that was getting brighter. In her realm there was only 4 hours of sunlight. And yet, that time had approached. "Goddess!" Ivy shouted from the door, realizing what was going on. Ivy blushed deeply from the look of pleasure on Kyuu's face until she had seen the sky. "Shit!" Kyuu caught the towel that came flying at her head, and stood up, drying herself off. "You can come with me or you can do as you please, but I have to get inside..." Kyuu jumped out of the hot tub and stumbled a little, already feeling drained as the moon faded in her sky. Ivy hurried her inside, and then brought a towel for Manit. Now that Kyuu was dry, she slipped on her robe and then was on her way to her chilled room. Her body was not meant to be hot. Kyuu hadn't even bothered to tie the robe as she walked around inside.

Manit jumped out, dried off and get dressed, then followed them inside. "Whats going on?" He asked, not knowing what was happening. He assumed that either the moon gave her power, are the sun damaged her, or both. He was okay with not getting to do anything to serious with her, it was not like it was a necessity. She needed to be safe, and he felt like protecting her should come first.

"Even as a Goddess, Helios can damage my perfection." Kyuu said when she was in her room and Ivy was closing her blinds and the black out curtains. It made it nearly pitch black inside, but she was fine with it. She turned on the light, grabbed Ivy, and roughly kissed her for a moment, leaving her favorite girl breathless and blushing. Ivy left the room and Kyuu looked at Manit. "You got dressed again... a Pity..." A moment later, his clothes were just a pile of cloth at his feet and then he was laying on her bed. Kyuu should have been going to sleep, but instead, she decided to have her fun. She slipped the robe off and ground her hips against his, and when she finally got what she wanted, she was up all through the sun time, and late into the moonrise. Some time around, what would have been 5pm in the mortal realm, Kyuu finally was out of breath, out of energy, and had decided it was finally time to give him a break. She cuddled next to him on her sheets, pulling the purple silk around them. Her white hair was down and spilled out around her, and her eyes were closed as she listened to his racing heart.

He Smiled, breathing hard. "That was a lot Kyuu, you wore me out. You look pretty worn too." He laughed to himself and put his arm around her. That was a hell of night, like nothing he ever experienced before, she did have the power of Aphrodite too, obviously. Plus bearing her mark, the pleasure was increased tenfold.

"My Mark doesn't officially set until I either feed from or, well, that with whom I've marked. It's more intense now. To disown you would probably kill you." Kyuu said all of this calmly, as if it didn't bother her at all. it did, but she refused to let it show. She kept listening to the way his heart pounded in his chest, jealous that hers didn't beat any more. She felt her fangs lengthen, but she ignored the burn in her throat.

"ah, well. I hope I do not do anything to earn being disowned then. And, if you are thirsty, you can go right ahead. I'm fine with it." He smiled at her and kissed the top of her head, still catching his breath from the wonderful night.

Kyuu shook her head. "I'll use a feeder. It's too soon to take form you again. You're mortal, after all." Kyuu normally would have said that comment as an insult, but for once she didn't mean it as such. "With my Mark, you'll live longer. You're not immortal or indestructible, but you live longer. Take Ivy and Derek for example. Ivy is 42 and still looks to be 19. Derek is 29 and looks 17. My Mark is a blessing."

Ah, then I thank you again Kyuu."He kissed her head again, then looked at the glowing mark. It was beautiful in a way, showed him he belonged. He loved the idea of finally having ONE person to protect, ONE place, ONE master. He was growing sick of his few years of being a mercenary anyway. This just solved the question of where to go. He was truly happy.

"It's Mistress, not master." Kyuu winked at him and then she stilled, dripping off into a dream land. Now that she was covered again, wearing the nightgown she had thrown to the floor before the trip outside, she fell off into dreams of the past with her friend. She wore her friend's crystal pendant, to link them together while Kyuu slept. In reality, Kyuu pulled herself closer to Manit.

Manit held her close as he too drifted off into sleep. He did not dream, he never did. If he did, he thought of it as a forshadow of a serious event looming just beyond eyesight. He relaxed, and regained his energy. Sleep was one thing that Manit did, usually without wanting to. Sleep meant he weakened himself. So when he did sleep, it was so light a banging two rooms down could wake him.

Kyuu popped into his mind, through their bond, and pulled him into a deeper sleep. "There are no threats in my realm... I don't see why you bother with not resting as you should. It's not healthy to keep yourself half awake like this..." In dreams, as if it's possible, Kyuu is even more glamorous and gorgeous. In dreams, she shines as she does when she works the will of the Goddesses in the waking world. "You have nothing to worry about. Anyone would be dead before they got to my home."

"Alright Kyuu, I will, just for you." His body relaxed and he went into a deepened sleep. He realized how truly beautiful she was in this realm. In his dream he was home, his parents were still alive and he could just relax. Both his dad and him were on the front porch of his house, sipping on beers, watching the world go by. His mother inside stirring a stew, then coming out to the porch and sitting next to his father. But it was only a dream.

"This is a beautiful dream, you know.." Kyuu lessened her light, so mortal eyes could bare it. She smiled when she saw the older couple, and lightly wrapped her arms around Manit. She rested her head on his shoulder, not needing to fear the thirst a mortal caused her. Still, she knew he would do anything for her. Anything she asked would be hers, and that made even the peaceful dream self she created, smile. "You should be proud of this world."

Manit closed his eyes and looked down, fighting back tears. "It's all I have left of them. I miss them everyday, but I know they wouldn't want me to linger on these feelings. It is not how they raised me." He looked over his shoulder at Kyuu and smiled. "Thank you for being respectful of this."

"I will respect everything of beauty." Kyuu said the words with all honesty. "Here, you have everything, even without me. That is what Morpheus, the God of Dreams, teaches us. His brothers will try to turn them dark, and scary, but when we hold onto the things of beauty in our lives, his brothers have no control over them. Except for Ikelos, who gives us realistic dreams like this one. The dreams that we all want to have, forever..."

"This is why I usually do not sleep deeply and dream. This world is to perfect for me...at least at the moment. I will deserve to be here someday, but that day is not any day soon." Manit shook his head softly and looked down at the tattoo on his right wrist, the broken dagger. It was black, blacker then usual. "The monks said that the tattoos will become colored when I am somewhere I belong, and a pure black when I am somewhere I will eventually spend eternity.

"Dreams connect us to the other world. The world of those that have left us, and yet continue to live. Most of us will return to them some day. I am not one of them. You're lucky you are." Kyuu smiled sadly and swept her hand in front of him, creating a mock screen to what she dreams of. Of her happiness with her once loving husband, of her family, together. The dream changed as her Consorts came and went, and then showed herself alone, covered in blood like the night she killed those loyal to the late Queen of the Satsui. "Your dreams are far better than mine."

"Yeah.." He looked at her and shook his head. "I am sorry if I offended you, It is just that these dreams bring on emotions that are not easy to calm. I Used to not dream until the night before a hit." At these words his dream changed, from a peaceful dream of his family to one with an all to familiar smell. Death. There were two sides in this battle. One in green, the other yellow. The green team was obviously winning.They had the defensive position, and a choke point right before the battle site. Manit and Kyuu could see the green decimating the yellow, and then the Yellow soldier with duel black blades, like Manit's, came running up and pushed back several greens, killing 5 or 6 of them. Then he got an arrow through his legs and arms and one through his chest as he fell. "That was my first merc mission..I had failed" was all Manit said.

"You shouldn't dwell on such things." Kyuu gently wrapped her arms around Manit and rested her head on his shoulder. She could have used the hug just then, too. The smell of death was strong around her and she wasn't sure she could take it again. Being a goddess, she changed his dream to her house. Her room. She sat down on the silk lined bed and looked up at him. "You do have things to look forward to now. Dream of such things now." Kyuu considered a spell she knew to help him have better thoughts, but she chose against it.

"I just don't know if I should.."He turned and looked at her, sitting there, on the bed. At that moment Manit collapsed, the back of his head bursting in extreme pain, so much so he had gone unconscious. His body landed in an unmoving heap at the foot of her bed. He had no clue where this pain had come from. In the real world he was also unconscious, but blood was seeping through a wound at the base of his skull.

"What the living..?" Kyuu was jolted out of the dream realm from the true sent of blood. On her bed. She sighed. That would be troublesome. But right now, she needed to stop the bleeding. With her vampiric speed, she lept up and into the bathroom, grabbing a damp cloth. Returning to the bed, she rolled Manit over and pressed the healing tincture soaked cloth to his bleeding head. She would have rather just licked the blood away and healed the random wound, but she wouldn't dare with his hair there. She pressed her fingernails against his temples and gave him a small jolt of her Goddess energy, to numb his pain and force him to regain consciousness.
