An Underground Bar

Manit awoke sharply and blinked out any feeling he could. "What the hell happened?" He was shocked, confused, and felt instantly as though he were being watched. To him the room was spinning, and he felt weak. "Kyuu..."He leaned into her, barely able to keep his body up.

"If I knew, I would gladly tell you." Kyuu sighed softly as she continued to heal the wound with the herbs tinctures in the cloth she held to his head. "How long have you had this opened wound to your head? Trauma this blunt could have and should have killed you. When did you receive this blow?" Kyuu knew she shouldn't have been asking so many questions, but with a mark to this degree, if he fell back asleep, she was likely to lose him.

"um..I honestly have no clue, it wasn't there when I fell asleep." He was trying to remember, but his mind was clouded. He could barely remember a couple days ago. Leaning his head down so she could see and heal the wound easier he closed his eyes, trying to remember. Then it struck him. "In that last dream.. I was stomped on that area after i hit the ground.."

"Only ethereal beings can be hurt on the dream realm's domain. I can sense within you that you are not a dream walker. How strange though, perhaps it was because I am, that you got hurt. Never again will I enter your dreams, I give you my word on this." Kyuu sighed softly, lightly running her lightly split fingers over the wound. Her blood forced his flesh to close again.

He sighed as his mind cleared up. "Yeah..that has never happened before. And thank you." He looked behind him and noticed the blood on the bed. "Sorry about that Kyuu." He ran his hand over the back of his neck, then cracked it. It felt better, but he was still wary about how much he should do with it.

"Though I was raised to be a killer, and it is part of my nature, my healing is what I am good at. You will be fine." Kyuu lightly leaned in and kissed over the closed wound, sealing it with something extra. "Perhaps I am just a burden to you." Kyuu sighed and looked away from him, over towards the window, her face blank.

He instantly turned to her. "You are not a burden Kyuu, trust me." He wrapped her arms around her and gave her a hug. "Not one at all"

"Then why does it seem as though I am?" Kyuu sighed again and looked back at him for a second, her eyes a dark blue color. Just as they were when she was thinking about the children she would never again see, or the things she did in her past. Her eyes found her journal that told of the Satsui massacre, and then quickly darted away. She knew the pages too well. She thought writing the story would make it go away, but it only made her relive it over and over again.

"It doesn't seem so to me. I enjoy your company, very much." He smiled as he said these words, meaning them with all his heart. He held her tight, trying to remind her of that fact.

"Then show me... Show me what I mean to you, if I mean anything at all..." Kyuu hung her head, resting her forehead against hi shoulder, resisting the urge to allow her body to relax against his. She left her muscles tense and clenched to try and forget how she was feeling.

"And how do you want me to show you that?" He didn't release her from the hug. He wanted to prove it to her, but he didn't want to do anything she didn't feel was acceptable.

"If I have to tell you how, it's not worth it to try..." Kyuu wiggled out of his arms and stood up, her silk nightgown lose on her small body. She crossed her arms over her chest, and stared out her sliding glass door that led out to her balcony that over looked the hot tub. That moment seemed to be so far away now.

Manit stood up next to her. " I only ask because I do not want to do the wrong thing Kyuu, I want to do what makes you happy." He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her small, beautiful body close to his large, scared frame.

"What makes you think that you won't make me happy?" Kyuu muttered softly, a pout clearly on her full lips. With a soft and silent sigh, she leaned against him, allowing her tense body to relax slightly. She placed her delicate and rather small hands on his chest, as if to push him away, but she didn't.

"I do not know, but I do not wish to make any move that would offend you." He rubs his hand up and down her arm, smiling softly at her. She was beautiful, even more so with that pout.

"Perhaps you need to know things more often, instead of guessing about things..." Kyuu smirked a little, turning away from his arms in that moment. She was barely clothed still, and the way that the silk clung to her small frame was like perfection embodied. BUt she was a Goddess, wasn't she? Of course that's the way it was to be.

He smiled and turned her body to face his, in this moment he kissed her lips softly, yet forcefully. He pulled away and then smiled at her. "Does that count as knowing?"

Kyuu places her lovely, delicate hands on her perfectly curved hips. "I am unsure, you tell me." She looked away again, this time in mocked anger. There was still a smirk on her lips.

"Well then" He turned her body to him and kissed her back, this time holding it. Kissing slow and deep. He moved his hands under hers and pulled her to him. "Does that prove that I know?" He smirked at her when he said this.

"You would be surprised at what little mortals know when it comes to the beings that keep living." With that, Kyuu put her hands on his chest and pushed him away from her. If she was as small and weak as she looked, he wouldn't have budged. However, she wasn't. With a small smile on her full lips, she turned again and walked away some, her hips swaying perfectly to each side, in the most teasing way.

A small smile grew on his lips as he moved closer to her, putting his hands on her hips from behind. "And what is it we do not know, Kyuu?" He pulled her body softly to his.

"You still misunderstand so much." Kyuu said softly, her eyes turning a crimson red of anger. She had them closed, and her voice had been soft, but anger still filtered into it. She let him pull her closer, though. A part of her was screaming to be held. She needed it.

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her. "Even immortal creatures need to feel human sometimes, relieves the stress." He moved his hands to her shoulders and started to rub and pull gently, massaging her back soft.

"Do that much longer and I'll have to lay down..." Kyuu said the words in a lovely, teasing voice. Though she wouldn't have minded that he continue, she knew that he was right about her having to relax. It wasn't something she did often enough, seeing as how she was always expecting someone to come around the corner and attempt to slay her.

"well then, lay down kyuu." He continued, rubbing hard enough to relief stress,but not to hard. He rubbed down lower to the middle of her back and used his thumbs.
